i made this card for my friend's birthday.
she likes green so made a green one :)
I distressed the pattern paper a bit and inked it brown.

I love this pretty bonnet since the day I saw it at DDSB.
I love reading Laura Ingalls books, so I imagined she wore something like this
*sigh*...mmm so sweet... :)

Cook Up A Card : a birthday card

August 5th is my sister's birthday... I made a special card for her.

She likes butterfly (just like me!), she likes purple (me too!) but i think she has more talent than i in making cards (and in drawing, and in creativity and in designing except in cooking! :))
But unfortunately, she doesn't have so much time to play with papers and scissors and glue....

here is the card, i knew she loves it.

oh i enter this card in Cook Up A Card August challenge,
the recipe is : 3 flowers, 2 different stamps (the butterfly is an inkadinkado, and the sentiment is a stampendous) and 1 happy birthday.

OLW 14 : square outlines

I enjoyed the process of making a one layer card.. it didn't take out all my energy :)
I entered the first card the OLW 14 here.
The second card was what I made previously, but then i saw that the ink were a bit smudge and not clean ...*sigh* so I made another three....
I used the Hero Arts stamps and Martha Stewart inks.

I love my design block silhouette from Hero Arts since the day it came to my house :)
but i didn't realize that it was a very big stamp!
I colored only the half part of the image with my markers and sent it to one of my friends.
unfortunately I forgot to take picture of the inside :(

Actually I made this card for my friend before the sketch was announced.
What a coincidence my card has the same sketch with the CPS' except the horizontal line at the middle!
So I decided to add a ribbon there and enter my card for the challenge :)

my first card after a looong holiday :)

it's been more than a month that I didn't make any card! And this is my first card after being on such a holiday :) Now my kids are already back to school... hooray I have my time to play with papers and scissors, stamps and ink... woohoo....
And i bought this digi cupcake kiki from CC Design. I thought she was cute and adorable ;p.
I enter this card for DDSB Challenge #16 : use those scraps, ha a good challenge 'cos I believe we all have those scraps and a LOT of them!

gift sets for the teachers

This weekend my children will get their school (or class?) reports and go to the next level in studying :)
Joshia will be on 11th grade, and Joan will move from kindergarten to primary school (longer school hours, heehee..)
And these are the gift sets I've made these 3 days (ouch, got some backpain and lost some spirit now).

Every gift set contains of a notebook, a post-it note holder, a pencil case with blue, red, black pens and pencils, and a thank you card.
The image is a digi stamp, freebie from Meljen's design.

Hope the teachers love their presents.
I still have one homework to do, a scrapbook page for my son's teacher :(
